3D Printing Platform Adhesive

The 3M 468MP adhesive transfer tape is the default standard for applying PEI sheets to a 3D print bed. The 468MP product features a high performance acrylic adhesive known as 200MP, typically used to join metal or high surface energy plastics. This makes the 468MP product the perfect adhesive to use for setting up a PEI sheet as a build surface. The product performs well under hot and cold cycles and maintains adhesion retention up to 400 F, well within most 3D printer's print bed temperature range. The outstanding shear strength provides resistance against slippage and edge lifting making it ideal to bond PEI sheets onto 3D print beds.

Application

Each 3M 468MP adhesive transfer tape comes with polycoated kraft paper as a protective liner. Simply remove the liner to expose the adhesive and affix to the PEI sheet. Once securely affixed remove the other adhesive liner to affix to the print bed. Please note, the 200MP adhesive is very tacky. The strong retention means once the adhesive touches something it will stick and re-positioning will be extremely difficult. The adhesive will clump up if you try to re-position.

Each roll comes as a single unit. The pre-cut sheets of squares or circles come as a 5 pack, which means all adhesives come with 5 sheets.
